Create a Crayon

The first activity is to create cute artworks of wax crayons. Now you can choose to use any art making medium, or you can choose to make a wax crayon using a wax crayon!

Wacky Paintbrushes

Next idea is to create illustrations of wacky paintbrushes! For this, you can use anything you want to draw the paintbrush, and then you can choose to use any type of paint to add to the background to create texture in your composition and help bring the focal point to the paintbrush.

Emoji Artwork

This one allows for choice art making mediums and tempera paint. I think this is a great way to explore unconventional ways of using paint to create a textured background. I think kids are going to really enjoy this design as it is of high interest to them! 

Create Element of Art Texture Fruit

For this art lesson, you will be exploring how to use line to explore the element of art texture to CHANGE the implied texture of fruit and veggies! This is a great art lesson that will give kids new skills of being able to use texture into their artworks as they create on their own.

Element of Art Shape: Fox

Finally, explore creating organic and geometric shapes with this fox art lesson that explores the element of art: shape! This is a lovely art lesson that allows for choice art making mediums and for kids to create art and explore tools artists use to make art.
